When i seen the volunteer position advertised for ifit I was really impressed with them as a foundation/charity and the changes they make I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.

Throughout several years of continuous studying of the legal system and researching, the circle from crime to prison and back again due to lack of support leaving prison and the stigma around those leaving prison, not just within inverclyde but further a field it needs worked on and changed.

my aim is to be a helpful and positive support not only to those entering Ifit but those on the support team to.

We all want to live in a better area and that doesnt happen on its own. We need positive continious support creating better opportunities and thats what ifit does.

I want to help show those leaving prison ect that they can have goals, a new way of life and achieve so much more.
