Community Justice and Throughcare

Based in Greenock, Inverclyde Faith in Throughcare is a registered Scottish throughcare charity that provides a link for people returning from prison to the community in Inverclyde. We walk with participants as they gradually build trust in others and the community. We advocate on our participants’ behalf, helping to access the resources they need. 

We work closely with local partners and relevant agencies while supporting participants. We offer volunteer programmes to support people on a journey from imprisonment to the community. 

Our staff and volunteers are a non-anxious presence in our participants’ lives. We are good listeners, non-controlling, and non-judgmental – supporting people to manage the challenges they face in a positive way

We are committed to working together with participants, tailoring person-centred plans to meet the needs of the individual, and supporting change.
